Pentax K-7 short movie, impressive!
YouTube - Uncle Jack
"Shot in downtown Denver entirely at night, the film keeps you rooting for a troubled character with a big heart. UNCLE JACK was filmed with the smc PENTAX DA Star 16-50mm F2.8 ED AL (IF) SDM, the smc PENTAX DA 10-17mm F3.5-4.5 ED (IF) Fish-Eye and the smc PENTAX DA Star 60-250mm F4 ED (IF) SDM lenses." Some interesting clips on the Pentax-imaging website.
It is nice to see Pentax bringing out some nice cameras to match their wonderful line-up of MF & AF *ED lenses. I would love to see a pro-level digital version of the classic Pentax LX...one of my all-time favourite cameras. (I help maintain the large mir.com Pentax and Nikon web pages). |

I had the LX system with all of the finders, motor drive and winder and my K-7 is more compact than the LX with motor drive or winder. I would like to see a full frame DSLR from Pentax with 1080p 60,30,24 etc with full manual controls and 1.44mp (800x600 RGB) EVF.
