HVX 200/P2 Set Up Questions???
Hello everyone;
I rented an HVX 200 for a infomercial inside a dr.'s office. Now when I'm formatting the P2 cards, the manual tells me that the P2 Cards won't shoot DVC PRO HD in 720/24P. Also, in the menu, under the record section, it shows that the P2 Cards are recording in 720/24P, however, the camera recording rate is set at 480I, & I can't change that setting, because its in royal blue, & appears to be locked in, or a custom pre-set that someone has stored on the camera. My question is how do I get the camera record setting changed to 720P, & if I can't, can I record 1080 24P, onto the P2 cards on DVC PRO HD? (I would prefer to record some kind of 24P look onto the P2 Cards utlilizing DVC PRO HD codec). Also, if anyone has good file scene settings for flourescent lighting, as well as outdoor blue sky for FILM CAM, I would appreciate any tips on menu settings, since I only have the camera for 2 days. thanks in advance; frustrated in Detroit.... |

on the back, you probably have the Media Tape/P2 switch in the "tape" position.
there is a built-in FLUOR scene file which works OK. Barry Green's HVX book is a must for the questions you are asking. |
