Mixing 24p and 24pn
Hello,
We're in the middle of production for a short film. We ended up shooting a few scenes in 24p, although everything else is 24pn. Are there any issues we can expect from this error? Thanks, Matt |

Possibly- I would check the clips to see what kind of pulldown they have, if you did the Advanced 2:3:3:2 you'll be able to remove the pulldown and combine this 24P with the 24PN footage. However if you shot 24P regular it will be timed for a 29.97 sequence and you'll have interlacing to deal with on some frames.

You should be able to remove the pulldown regardless of how you recorded 24P or 24PA. It is easier for the computer if it is 24PA but still should work with 24P. You might have to fool around a little to get the correct cadence on your shots.
