Writing DV to P2 card

I have been trying to find the best method for transferring archived DV footage to a P2 card for playback with the HVX. I'm using Edius Broadcast, and although I can put DV onto the card and play it back, the quality is much worse than the original DV with extreme stairstepping on diagonals and poor quality on individual frames. My best reult has been to have Edius up-convert the DV to 720p60 HD and then put it out to the P2 card. This greatly reduces the stairstepping and every other frame looks very good, with the in-between frames being much less detailed. Anyone have any other ways to make DV look good ?

you need to convert it to .mxf. Using e.g Raylight.
