Mounting P2 cards on Windows XP notebooks?
Running WinXP Pro 32 - if I stick in the P2 card directly into a Cardbus slot on a notebook, WinXP won't recognise it as valid.
If I stick the same P2 card into the P2Store and then plug the P2store into a USB slot on the same notebook, no problems. This notebook has the P2Viewer software and driver loaded. What must be loaded into WinXP Pro in order to read the P2 card from its Cardbus slot? I don't seem to see it listed in the Panasonic's software option list. Thanks, TS |

Does the cardbus work fine otherwise?
My laptop cardbus has been less finicky than my P2 Store. |

I have downloaded the latest version of the PC drivers from USA Panasonic website. I have found the Cardbus device driver inside this one. Installed it and now it works.
When I went to the Japan Panasonic website, that one don't offer PC Cardbus - I have no idea why. TS |
