Frame accumulation in interval mode HVX 200
With my XDCAM HD, if I go into invterval record mode I can set the shutter to be so slow that when shooting timelapse I get a beautiful blur effect.
Is this possible with the HVX? I need to do a timelapse of a day in a restaurant for about 8 hours and what to get a lovely blurred feel to. I cant use 2fps (with which i can get a sort of similar feel using slow shutter) in 720pn mode as I always get file errors for longer than about 90 minutes of rolling. Ideally it is going to be 1 frame every 2 seconds. Thanks, Philip |

Hello Phil,
Try: Recording set-up - 1080 30p Scene - Video Cam Shutter - 1/15 Then: Go back to Recording Set-Up - REC FUNCTION - INTERVAL Then: INTERVAL TIME - 2s If you need the look of the shutter open longer - Look at the Nikon D200 - has a built-in interval function. |

Thanks Mike,
that's what I have been using, I was wondering if there was a better way and to have longer shutter. I won't be buying ANOTHER camera, even if it is stills, just for this look. I will stick with the XDCAM hd for that look and if can't use a small camera will do 1 frame every second and put a nice motion blur on it or something!!! |
