Raw P2 mxf files to download from HVX200?
I can't find any of the old sites that had raw mxf files from the HVX200. There was a large number of mxf files posted from Sundance when the camera first came out. Can anyone post some raw files of good footage so we can test the workflow on a new FCP system? Or tell me where some links might be to the old footage? We need raw and not mov or or compressed/converted files.
Thanks, Gary |

Kaku,
Can you also give me the direct link to the page where the fullo rez HVX200 mxf files are located for downloading? I am having trouble finding them on your site. Gary Last edited by Gary Gowman; April 14th, 2007 at 05:51 PM. |

Gary, sorry, the site seems to be having problem on the document software.
My admin is fixing it, so I will let you know when it is back. By the way, what kind of scene do you need? Maybe I can make it up from my library. |

Kaku,
No particular scene. I am just looking for raw mxf files from Panasonic HVX 200 so I can work try working with FCP and importing them. The latest version seems to now handle this. I had all the old mxf files last year but lost them from moving around and felt I would not ever need them again. I now have a client/employer who might want to get the HVX 200 and edit on Mac. I now have Mac so I can try it all out. I would like to try and work with some 1080i, 1080p24 and 720p if possible. Maybe some overcranked stuff, too. I used to be just PC and Sony Vegas and now Iit looks like mostly Mac FCP. Any scenes that have people and some motion. Your bike stuff with people. Tripod stuff would be great since handheld always injects motion. Low light indoor footage would be nice to show them what the limits might be. Thank you for helping, Gary edit- I found your site, hvx 200 mxf, but it appears to all be 480i files. Do you have any HD files? 3-5 seconds is fine for each clip. If your testing is already done on the import part, then you can just download any of the various FCP compatible files in the download section. There are many.
http://www.xtream.ne.jp/en/component...,64/Itemid,68/ These are already imported through the P2 import of FCP, so that is how P2 files become under FCP. |
