Converting Firestore Raw DV?
We accidentally shot some DVCPROHD 720p/24p footage in Raw DV rather than P2 on our Firestore. What are the steps to work with this footage on a timeline with other DVCPROHD that was shot P2 style? Will the flags be different for the frame rate? Will we need to do some kind of render to get it into a DVCPROHD timeline with the other footage? Will we be losing any resolution or anything in the conversion?
Thanks for your help, Arne www.girlsrockmovie.com |

Arne,
Chris has setup a forum specifically for the Firestore in all it's iterations; those who use it most frequently will be able to help you. Try posting the question there - one of the moderators may move this question there for you. http://www.dvinfo.net/conf/forumdisplay.php?f=65 |

I once on a christian minister's conference that I was attending as guess I ran out of P2 cards. As I was ready to leave, the main speaker (Joel Osteen) came to talk to us and had to use a DV tape to record a message that he sent to our congregation in Miami (Alpha & Omega Church). In FCP5 I dropped the footage in the same timeline as the 720p 24, rendered and it looked as good as the original 720p 24 on a Pioneer 42" Plasma.
