Gamma Mode in DV
Still getting through the manual. Couple of questions.
Can the gamma modes be used in straight dv shooting? Has anyonw had results with this. (softer film like? High contrast imagery in good light?) How about on the cards ? I've seen some of this stuff in cinegamma 24p and the stuff loooked fantastic. Any comments? This is definitely one of the reasons I bought the camera but the move from sony pd land has got me upside down. The menus alone are a bit much. Any quick tutorials for gamma modes would be met with a "you the man! (or woman)" FJ |

Freddy, did you receive the HVX book with your camera? It has a great rundown of all the gamma curves and other settings.
