MXF only at DVinfo.net

I've gotten hold a few MXF files only and not the full content of the P2 card files to show my moneymen the goodness of HD on HVX.

I'm on FCP 5.0.4 and it doesnt seem importable through FCP or with flip4mac(trial). Is it cause its not the full content or is there other ways around it?

Pls advise! Thanks!

John, you need FCP 5.1.2 to completely take advantage of MXF files. You should be able to get the cross-grade disks relatively quickly (less than 10 working days) if you send in your current disks to Apple. I'm not sure, but the cross-grade program should still be available.

Flip for Mac won't help.

According to the FCP status inquiry page they are currently back ordered. I'm waiting for mine currently.
