Monitoring HVX 1080i/720p with Sony PVM-14L5?
Hi everyone,
We just got the new HVX at DV Expo. At the Expo, I saw Samys displace the HVX and outputs the camera to a Sony PVM-14L5 in the HD mode. We have this monitor at our studio too but don't know how to get the video out. Do we need an optional card or something? Please advise! Thank you! |

All professional monitors use BNC-type connectors; the HVX ships with (3) RCA-to-BNC adapters; put those on the camera component cable and you can use any pro-monitor you wish. If you don't still have those adapters you can get them at Radio Shack.
