Real time video to computer?

How can I use my computer as a real-time video monitor for my HVX200? I connect it through firewire. I use final cut pro's import media screen as my current monitor. VERY LAGGY!

Do you have an intel mac? If so, look at Serious Magic's DV Rack 2.0 HD. It's a Windows-only program but it runs in BootCamp on Intel Macs. It's absolutely fantastic.
