Possible archival solution

Just seen this and thought it might be a possible archival solution, particularly when the higher capacities come on stream.

Looks like it'd be really slow. The transfer rate is 25 to 30 megabits per second, so four hours to archive 1 hour of 1080p footage? Look instead to LTO3, which has a much higher capacity and its transfer rate is 640 megabits per second.
