project trapped on computer. (HVX & FCP HD)
We shot a commerical on the HVX200 using P2 the camera was set at 720 PN and we edited it on the newest version of Final Cut Pro HD. The footage imported with no problem and was edited with ease, but we cannot seem to get the footage to transfer to a AJ-HD1200a HD firewire deck. Are there any special settings we need to transfer or something we might have overlooked.
Any one esle have problems with these camera settings and this deck? Also if we took an uncompressed quicktime file of the footage could we transfer it from computer to another with no quality loss? Our editor is in Chicago and we are going to try and transfer here in Michigan. So we are wondering if an uncompressed quicktime file would be the best file to send instead of having to send a hard drive with all the files and such on it. |

Make sure in your audio/video settings that you have device control preset chosen correctly. It defaults to NTSC firewire and there is a choice for DVCPRO HD firewire. That's likely where your problem lies. -gb- |
