A little test footage of my own
So I'm relatively new here, I will give you my story:
I graduated from SFSU in May '05 w/ a degree in cinema production, but I had no camera. I got a laptop as a graduation present, and then in February, fate decided to grant me a camera in the forum of a coked-out filipino guy driving right into the side of my car (with me in it) and totaling it. I took the settlement and invested in the HVX200 which I'd been following for some time, as my first "real" camera. I'm stiill waiting on my P2 card and a video tripod (I was using a $30 camera tripod which is barely better than holding the camera myself), which arrive this week. Here's my first bit of footage, 3 1-minute clips of my mom's parrots, Colonel Sanders and Andromeda. They're heavily compressed, clips 1 and 3 are Mpeg4 200kbps, 2.3 megs, and clip 2 is Mpeg4 800kbps, 7.4 megs. I'm still learning a lot, but I was really impressed with the colours and the capture of movement. http://www.jlboyce.com/video/Parrots-01.mp4 http://www.jlboyce.com/video/Parrots-02.mp4 http://www.jlboyce.com/video/Parrots-03.mp4 |
