Exporting HVX media to AVI
This is a stretch for this forum, I know, but I'm in a hurry and need some help from those who have probably encountered this!
I have a timeline shot in 720/30P that I need to export (downconvert) from FCP through Flip4Mac to an AVI file. When I get the final AVI output it is in a 4:3 format ... how do I get it to retain its original (or create) a 16:9 widescreen format? Very frustrating. Please help if you can! Thanks. |

My own follow-up
So ... with further experimentation I exported out a Final Cut Movie, opened that in Quicktime (16:9 is retained) and then exported this file out as an AVI. It retains the aspect ratio but it also retains the pixel count ... still trying to get this figured out ....
