Timecode
Is it possible to get the firewire based timecode to a digi-slate. The digi-slate I'm looking at requires a 1/8" input, but it comes with a BNC to 1/8" cable. Now is there any firewire to BNC convertors or would this not even be possible? I am running audio into the camera so it's not abolutely necessary but I've had cases were my audio and video slip out of sync when editing, so I just want a quick way to realign them, just incase.
Also, I'm shooting HD so I'm going to run the video to a harddrive, now could I use a Firewire hub and get video and the timecode or can I only get one or the other? If it's not possible to get both from a hub, I'd still need a way to get timecode to the slate so I could atleast jam it every now and then. It would be some much easier if the HVX-200 had a BNC Timecode output. To me that's the only thing this camera is missing. Could it be possible to get on the 200a maybe... Would be nice.
