FW drive OTG dvcpro50

Hi all.
Since to me high def from HVX will be unusefull for a while, I have a couple of questions regarding dvcpro50:

Regardless of the (obviously interesting) plus coming from 4:2:2 scheme, lighter compression, 16/9 nativeness, and minus coming from eventual lower sensitivity, will be there some kind of difference in terms of resolved lines from a DVX? In other terms, will the 940x540 (+pixel shift) imager on the HVX gives advantage about perceived resolution when recording SD?

Anybody knows if copying dvcpro50 files OTG on a FW selfpowered drive will take longer times over 720 or 1080 ones? How long will take with veryfying to download an 8gb card?

Thanks
Alvise

Well to me Hi Def has been extremely useful. It's has gotten us more work than we would have hoped... why would it be unusable to you?

Because broadcast in Europe is pretty far from permitting a true complete HD workflow. Right now I would have to downconvert, so still better to use better SD cameras than HD 1/3 ones. Also right now Apple FCP doesn't support 720p50 and my monitor isn't HD capable (as so many "hd ready" tv set are).
Cheers
