Batteries
I have a bunch of anton bauer bricks and I would hate to see them go to waste with a new camera, is there a converter so you can use anton bauer batteries on the HVX 200?

James,
There is an adapter which lets you use Anton Bauer's on the HVX-200 camera but it is not mounted to the camera. Not sure if it is clippable to your belt or you need a fanny pack. |

Does Anton Bauer make the adapter? I don't see anything on their site. Thanks, Drew Harty |

At present, the only thing I'm aware of is Anton's UNIV belt (I think that's the model name). It's a nylon belt with a Gold Mount plate and an XLR 4-pin cable. Personally, I'd rather get the weight off the camera for handheld work, anyway. Eventually, I figure they'll probably design a mount adapter, but to the best of my knowledge, it's not yet announced.
They've also got their STASIS shoulder-mount rig. I've never known anyone who has one.... they look clumsy and uncomfortable to me. |
