My Hvx200 Low Light And Slow Motion Tests

I will be uploading more clips later today.

Here are some slow motion and low light tests I did.

The low light tests were scenes I shot of the Boston skyline at night.

Click here to download the clips:

http://www.joric.com/film/

The RAIN and WATER movies were shot in 720p/24pn at 60fps.

I uploaded two different frame size versions of the low light test: 960x540 and 640x360.

Thanks for these. Were you at 0db gain, or higher gain levels on these?

It was very helpful and generous of you to take the time to put these up.

Again, thanks again,
Shawn

No problem, Shawn. I left the setting at 0db. I could have been at 6db on some of them, but none were at 12db. If I remember correctly though, I believe I was always at 0db.

Just added another slow motion test.

This one shows a strainer over the sink with lots of steam.

Also shot at 60fps.

Go to http://www.joric.com/film/ and click on steam-60fps.

I will be uploading more slow motion as well as fast motion 12fps later today.

thanks Nicholas for these tests.

The HVX have very rich colors in the shadows and in the highlights.
Very impressive.
