Wireless P2 Transmitter
How possible is the idea of a developer who can creat a P2 card transmitter for the HVX200, and a PCMCIA card receiver for transfering files wirelessly to a computer, so while you shoot, it inmediately appears on your desktop or whatever folder you choose?
Just a thought! Anyone here capable of doing so? |

Well, at this year's PhotoExpo in NYC there were digital still cameras that were capable of doing just what you describe with digital stills. That said, there are way too many issues to maintain the kind of data rate and clean signal to transmit DVCProHD.
Wireless broadband certainly exists and you can play streaming web videos, but there's a major difference between those rates and the rates you need for wireless DVCProHD. I think it'll happen in the next few years though under very tightly controlled conditions. |

I was thinking more about file transfers than live video, is that what you mean too?
