HVX to 1200a via 1394
Kaku,
Many thanks for your great video posts. I anxiously await receiving my HVX in December. Here is an interesting question to ask the Panasonic Rep: If I record footage from the HVX to my 1200a deck via firewire, will the 1200a record the flags? Will Final Cut Pro be able to read the flags and remove redundant frames as required for a 24p edit? Question assumes a 720p record, variable frame rates. Chris Bell Varicam Owner/Op |
