Why is HVX200 listed as a Consumer camera?
In the B&H listings, they have the HVX200 as a consumer camera, while the GL2 is under the professional listings!
Is this just a mistake? edit - nevermind, I see it's listed under both. I was concerned because I wanted to send the link to my boss and I know the first thing they'd say is, "but it's a consumer camera." |

I had this debate the other day at a studio. The DP said that the HVX200 was a consumer camera. I fully disagreed. I said DVCproHD and XLR's just to name two things from a large feature list are not found on consumer gear. I went on to say that the HVX200 is designed/made by the broadcast/Pro group at Panasonic. The DP agreed with me after my rant.
