Aj-hdc27f & hyperdeck shuttle 2
Looking/Finding Answers to properly work with 24p material from the varicam recorded to the hyperdeck. I'm aware the 10-bit HD-SDI signal is at a constant 720p/60P rate which means the 24fps must be flagged in there via a pulldown system of somekind. What would be the proper steps in post to extract the 24frame signal from that 60P source given the camera is recording 24/60. Thanks

Michael,
This could depend on the edit system and or software you have at your disposal. Also what frame rate you want to edit your project. Mpeg Streamclip could be useful if your edit software doesn't give you the correct conversion. |

The software I own is Final Cut Pro 7 & X, and Adobe Premiere CC. I plan on using this camera and editing in 24p so thats my base frame rate.
