AJ-PX270 User Thread
Hi all,
I am a new owner of the 270. Having come from the HVX-200, I expected to see the same amount of support (in terms of online tutorials, books, etc), but am surprised to see a near total lack of third party support user forum entries. So I thought I would start this thread to see if there are any other 270 owners here. It would be great to be able to share experiences and thoughts about the 270. Just in case any other 270 owners stop in, I will tell you the following nuggets of info that may be of interest... 1) FCPX does not currently support the LongG codecs from this camera. Panasonic is supposedly close to releasing a plug-in for FCPX that will finally bring native support. 2) In the meantime, Adobe Premier recently updated to support the LongG format and it works perfectly. I hope others find this thread and start posting. Thanks so much, Matt |

FilmRec is deep man.
I know you are not taking requests but here's what I'd like to see someone do. Yeah yeah, go do it myself... if I could... but: I'd like to see filmrec100 and filmrec600 settings for outdoor indoor tungsten indoor daylight I know there is no such thing as a preset, but the skin tones people talk about with filmrec on the varicam, historically, is awesome. |
