Second Camera with my HVX-200
Hello Everyone,
I was wondering if anyone had any thoughts about using the Panasonic G6 SLR as second camera with the HVX-200? Would they match up well? I know in the past a lot of people have been using the hacked GH2 with the HVX and seem pleased. I am looking for a second camera just for weddings and events. I currently do not have a good photography camera either so I thought this would be the most economical way to go. Any thoughts? Thank you, Dale Workman |

Yes, they should be able to match up OK... I've used HVX with GH2 (and AF100, and HMC150) and, while not perfect, they can all be made to match up without too much fuss. The G6 shouldn't be much different.

Re: Second Camera with my HVX-200
Thank you for the information Kevin. Good to hear that you had success matching the HVX with the GH2. I figured the G6 would likely match alright up as it has the same sensor. I know the bit rates are low - but I will cross my fingers and hope they come up with a hack for the G6 too.
Thanks! Dale |
