HPX370 or similar: what case do you use?

I have a very large hard case and am considering downsizing, even though the current one also holds a bunch of accessories.

What case do you use to transport your 300/370?

I don't have the 370, but I've used the Porta Brace Cary-On Case (PortaBrace - Camcorders) with the JVC HM-700. It fits the tripod plate, battery, and usually an XLR or two. If you pack it really well you can get a bunch more stuff in it.

I use a Digital Juice Large Split Camera Bag. It holds the camera nice and accessories (shotgun mike, cords, ...)

Kata CC-197... But I only use it for long distance transport (such as overseas) because I need to break the camera down to fit it in. Not good when I have to get somewhere and pop out with the camera and ready to shoot in 10 minutes. The 370 in a portabrace cover is tough enough to toss around locally, so I use the kata bag to move all the lighting and accessories and such instead.

Re: HPX370 or similar: what case do you use?

I wouldn't feel safe with the 370 in just a cover, because it sits in the back of my car with all the other equipment.

The two options I'm thinking about now are these:

PortaBrace - Production Gear

PortaBrace - Camcorders

With either one, I could use my current 2850 to carry bulky but lighter gear.

I use the CBA-HPX 300 portabrace body armour and the portabrace CO-PC carrying case.
