HVX 200 question

Hey there. Recently I was handed an HVX200 and asked to test out an internet stream. Normally I hook the camera to my computer via FireWire and then using Microsoft's Expressions Encoder I add the camera as a source (or Microsoft DV Camera and VCR is usually what it aligns with). When I hooked up the camera, I it started installing drivers and even said that it had successfully installed them.

In the encoder, however, when I tried to select Microsoft DV Camera and VCR it said that the source was in use and unavailable. I tried several of the 1394 settings in the menus to see if they made a difference, but I could not get the HVX to work as a video source. (it loaded fine as an audio source for some reason).

Was there something I'm doing wrong? It's not a camera I'm overly familiar with, so it's possible there's some setting I'm overlooking.

Thanks!

JR
