HVX200 Wedding Settings
Hi,
Recently upgraded from Sony PD170 to the HVX200 and a little overwhelmed with the settings. been watching: ‪HVX200 HD P2 Camera Workshop‬‏ - YouTube I wondered if anyone could recomend what setting have worked best for them with this camera especially when it comes to filming weddings as I dont have a lot of time to experiment on the day.. |

Re: HVX200 Wedding Settings
Hi Mike
I don't have the HVX (mine are HMC's) but a really good start would be Barry Green's HVX book!! There is also a disk with scene files on it. However if you are looking for a cinematic look then Scene File #2 is great to use for a film look. You probably need to tell users a bit more about your style of shooting too!! Are you going for the film look or shooting straight documentary style??? All makes a big difference to what you use and how you use it!! Chris |

Hi Chris
Thanks for the reply, i'll check those links out. I have to say I am now going for a film look, however i am a little concerned over some of the reviews ive read about 'film mode' not being great for live shooting Last edited by Mike Maher; July 25th, 2011 at 02:06 PM. Reason: spelling |
