HPX170 footage download directly to laptop?
I am about to borrow an HPX170 for a shoot that requires a more compact camera. I need to keep the kit as minimal as possible and was wondering if I can hook the camera directly to a laptop and use it to download the P2 cards?
Thanks David |

Yes. But you need the P2 drivers (available for download). You probably also want to download the manual.

Yep. Connect via Firewire if using a Mac, USB if using a PC. You will need to select which mode you're using in the appropriate menu.
Depending upon your computer, software, and framerate, you can even shoot and record directly to the laptop. |
