P2CMS Audio Playback Issues at DVinfo.net

I have been getting a lot of questions about P2 workflow and problems people are having playing back files.
On my own system clips play back garbled and out of sync when first opened. After pausing clip the sound on Ch 1 disappears and Channel 2 sound is clean. Using Macbook Pro 15in 10.5.8 Leopard, P2CMS 1.4.8 and latest P2 drivers. On my Mac Mini Same Operating system but P2CMS 1.4.4 works fine.
Any one know a solution.

I backslushed to P2CMS 1.4.4 on the Macbook Pro and first blush results are better. I hear both tracks and without any problem on the same material which didn't play well in P2CMS 1.4.8. Only tested with DVCPRO 100 so far.
