Latest word is that it should be available in the "November/December" timeframe. They are aiming at having a working model at the IBC show in September.

I am now seriously wondering why I am hanging around in the D2D forum... this looks like it will be in the present (and future) before all the glitches are worked out of the existing D2D systems.
I'm happy to hear that it has a real focusing ring, I wonder how good the image stabilizer is going to be... it looks too good. There has to be a catch somewhere. |

The catch is going to be finding one to buy. Panasonic will have a tough time meeting the demand.
