HPX370 / 371 Single Clip Record
Something I've just found out about, maybe everyone already knows this - the HPX370/1 can record all your shots as a single clip. In other words instead of every time you hit Record the camera recording the shot as a separate file it'll join them all together into 1 long clip. I can't see any use of this for me, but I could imagine there will be some for whom this is amazing.

Many editors have been whining for this feature for years. I agree, I cannot fathom why people want everything as one big clip but I guess for news editors who have used that work flow for years with tape, they seem to love this option.
You know how people are with editing and work flows, what seems logical and normal for one person seems like madness to the next. Dan |
