Where to buy AG-HPX170 mini-D terminal component cable?
I've lost the one that shipped with unit.
Been looking online without success. Anyone know a vendor? -C |

At zacuto's : D-Terminal Component Video Cable - Zacuto
or at filmtools : Canon D-TAP Video Cable DTC-1000 or at calumet : DTC-1000 D Terminal Component Video Cable - Canon : AV Cables or BHPhoto : http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/410327-REG/Canon_0976B001_D_Terminal_to_Component_Video.html I don't see the difficulty, it took me about 2 minutes via Google... |

I agree with John, you can get the cable from the same sources, but the cable he links to are for the HVX200, not the HPX170. The 170 changed from that horrendous D4 connector that the HVX200 used to a more conventional connector like the ones that Sony uses. I would think any of the retailers listed should also have it.

Still no luck
I searched every vendor listed above and indeed, every one of these is for the HVX-200. Anyone else have any thoughts?

Chris, hope this okay, I don't think Spec Comm is a sponsor but I have had the best luck obtaining obscure Panasonic parts through them. If not, just delete this post. Call Spec Comm, if they don't have it in stock, they can get it for you. Specialized Communications Corp.: Home
I do buy through Abel (bought my latest P2 cards from them), B&H (have bought hundreds of thousands dollars worth of gear through them many years) but I find that they are not as geared toward obtaining small OEM parts. The manual does not list a Panasonic part number for this cable, they just refer to it as "the component video cable" Dan |
