P2 drivers don't seem to work
I bought a lenovo s10e netbook and an addonics express card adapter to use as a field p2 offloading system. However, I can't seem to get it working, and I have a feeling it is the P2 drivers. I followed the procedures outlined in that thread, as well as used the step by step videos provided by addonics.
When I first inserted the card, the computer recognized it and said it was ready to use. Then I installed the newest P2 drivers, then inserted the card and adapter. The computer found "A mass USB storage device" but never recognized a P2 card, so this leads me to believe the addonics adapter IS working. When I try to manually install the drivers, again there is no P2 hardware present. When I look in device manager as outlined in the Panasonic guide to confirm the drivers are working, a P2 card or anything from Panasonic is not there. So this is leading me to believe that the drivers are not working properly. I have uninstalled and reinstalled them umpteen times, as well as trying different orders of operation (booting up with the card already inserted, etc). Any thoughts on how to get my computer to recognize the P2 card? Thanks. |

I don't think the Panasonic device drivers for the P2 cards are meant to work with an external express card adapter. What option did you choose when you install the Panny's device driver? If you choose PCMCIA / Cardbus option, I am not sure if the Panny's driver will work in that manner.
