Cheaper model
I bet that there will be cheaper Panasonic model with 50 Mbps MPEG2 in Sony HDV price range, something what was shown last NAB. It was 1080/25p. 10,000 USD camera is not for most buyers.

Maybe will be 50 Mbps without MPEG2 and 25 Mbps with MPEG2. They said 4,000 USD and 1080/25p, end 2005. It's still lot better than Sony's 25 Mbps 1080i.
