Universal Controller for HPX170
Hey Guys,
Just wondering if anyone has a recommendation for a zoom controller that is fully functional (zoom, focus, iris) with the HPX170. Does the ROCK-DVX-ZFI happen to be fully functional with my camera? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks! -Matt |

Yes it does control the iris, focus, zoom and stop/start.
Best, Jan

The 170 is backwards compatible with any HVX200, HVX200A, or DVX100B controller.
The DVX100 and DVX100A had provision for remote zoom and record start/stop, but no provision for remote focus/iris. The 100B added that, and the protocol has stayed the same through the 200, 200A, and 170. So if a zoom/focus/iris/rec start-stop controller says it's compatible with a 100B, 200, 200A, or 170, then it'll work with all those. |

I have two of that controllers, purchased from ZGC. Perfect ... no more fiddling with the endless focus dial on the camera lens.
