Difference between 1080 25p and 1080 50pn

Hi,

the new Panasonic HPX 301e (European Version) offers the above mentioned recording settings. But what is the difference between progressive and progressive native?

Advantages? Disadvantages?

Hi
I must have misunderstood something then - i thougt it was 25PN and 25 P.
As I was told: 25P records 2 similar frames for every one you need - thats 50 frames per sec. 25PN records only the needed 25 frames and therefor you save some space on your P2 cards.
