48fps sync in post?
Hello,
We recently shot a music video with the HVX200 (720pn), we shot various takes in 48fps. At the time we were not planing to use those takes at regular speed, so we didn't speed up the song for playback. However, now I would like to use parts for those takes at regular speed, to sync up to the music. How much should I speed up my 48fps (24p timeline) to match the music? Is it 200%, it can't be that easy can it? I know I will not be able to get a perfect sync throughout the whole song whole but does anyone have an approximate number? Thanks |

If you're on a 24p timeline- yes 200% would be about right. It will probably have some sync issues at some point but those are easily correctable by eye if necessary- as I wouldn't imagine you'll use the same take for very long at a time.
