4 tracks of audio out through 2 (L+R) RCA connectors?

Hi all,

I was wondering if you could clear something up for me regarding audio on the HPX-500/502:

If I have 4 channels/tracks of audio available to me on the HPX-502, how do I play those 4 channels/tracks out through the L+R audio connectors on the camera?

Is channel 1 and 3 played out through the left channel, and channels 2 and 4 played out through the right?

I will often use at least three channels, but I was wondering how to play those three channels out of only two (L+R) outputs.

Cheers!

Not sure how it works because I don't have that camera but I imagine the four channels are summed to a stereo mix coming out of the camera. To separate them individually you'd need to do that on a deck or in your NLE.
