Syncing settings for HVX and Canon XH-A1
I have a shoot this weekend where I will be the second camera with my HVX200 and the other camera operator has a Canon XH-A1. How can I make sure we get the same format, so when he edits my footage on tape from the HVX it has the same aspect ratio as his Canon footage? He shoots 480i/16x9 onto tape, but when I set my HVX to 480i/squeeze or letterbox(I tried both) it has a squareish(similar to 4x3) look to it when on the timeline for Adobe Premiere. His sequence setting for Premiere are 720x 480, 16x9. I normally edit my HVX stuff on Final Cut, so I'm not an expert for Premiere.
Thanks! Jon |

You want to set the camera to squeeze.
Once ingested into the NLE it should be treated the same way they treat their 16x9 SD footage.. |

Still stuck
I still don't know what to do here. Any suggestions, I tried squeeze out of the Camera Setup Menu, but that doesn't do anything.
