Staring at my HVX200A
Hey all,
So we won an HVX-200A for a film that we made (http://www.dvinfo.net/conf/showthread.php?t=120300), and we just got it today directly from Panasonic. Whoo hoooo. The trouble is, we are probably going to sell it to get an HPX-500... so we don't want to open the box. Wow this is hard. We've heard so much good stuff about the camera, and we want to play with it... but it would probably cost us $500 in resale value to open the box. SO... if anyone has any questions at all about the box that it comes in, I can answer them... it's brown... got some writing on it... what else do you need to know? |

Is the box square or rectangular? What color is the writing on the box?

They should have inked the box with glow-in-the-dark paint for better low-light performance.
But seriously, congrats on winning the 48!

So have the moderator move this to "Private Classifieds" and you'll sell it fast.
And I agree with your choice to get the 500 instead; the 200A is only going to have better noise/sensitivity than the original 200 but not the major step-up in overall visual quality the 500 offers - not to mention crazy record times with 4 P2 slots. |
