strangely corrupted card shot on hpx2100
been tried on an HVX and still no joy. It's 16gb and coming up with white thumbnails bizarrely. Shot in the snow but that's not the reason!!
The mac isn't recognising it even though it was used yesterday with no problems. This is an odd one. The footage is irreplaceable from a one off event in a very very remote location. Any suggestions would be greatly received and rewards would be forthcoming, well big thanks anyway!! Oh it was shot in DVCPRO 50 |

Phil,
Contact Panny repair on this; I've seen this on just one other occasion and the Panny support team was able to retrieve the data/footage and correct the problem for the customer - which I don't remember what caused it, if it was card or camera related, but it's most likely "fixable". For now, do not attempt any further troubleshooting and don't insert that card into another device - until you get in touch with Panny. I don't have any UK contact info for support but it's on the global Panny site and worst case, Jan C. can get it for you. |
