Serious Magic DV Rack HD 2.0 work with HVX ?
Dose is Serious Magic DV Rack HD 2.0 work with HVX ? if its, Serious Magic DV Rack HD 2.0 sill to adobe on location, is that mean adobe on location work with HVX HD format ??? is that mean I can use the camcorder with out P2 card and I can get ever function like Variable frame rates in 720p mode:
12, 18, 20, 22, 24, 26, 30, 32, 36, 48, 60fps ?? any one have answer 4 this ? |

In short, yes. You just cannot use the PN modes, as they do not output via firewire.

Although OL will record DVCPRO HD, it does not record P2 MXF file format.
Also, if you are going to record HD via OnLocation, make sure you have a pretty beefed up machine or you'll get some dropped frames. I look for a much more robust OnLocation in CS4. -Brad |
