aj hdx900 and slo mo? at DVinfo.net

Hi there
Looking to upgrade to a AJ HDX900, from a Sony PDW F350. Do you know if the HDX900 can shoot slow mo like the sony? I find that a great asset when shooting sports footage.

The 900 doesn't have variable frame rate capability. You can shoot 720/60p and then conform that footage to 720/24p to get 2.5:1 slow motion, but you would have to execute that "conform" step in post; you can't do it in-camera.
