Firestore and Tape-Same time?? at DVinfo.net

Hello all,

Tried to get an answer to this question, but I am still unsure about what it is.. I have a shoot bearing down on me..(Tomorrow) So my question is when using the HVX200 with a Firestore device (HD 720P 60), can you record to the tape at the same time?? (yes or no please)
And if "Yes" what will you have on the tape?? Standarrd def 16:9 ??

As I've replied to you elsewhere, the cam has to be either set to p2 or to tape.

Since the cam is requiring out firewire, it must be in the p2 mode.

So, no you cannot record simultaneously out firewire and to tape.
