matching GH5S and DVX200
Within a few weeks the stage shows starting again and the DVX200 will be for close ups and the GH5S for the wide shots. I shoot in 4K 50P 8bit internal on both.
Don't want to shoot vlog here. Is there a scene file that match both camera's? At this moment I only have the 25mm F1.7 lumix lens for me GH5S. I want to buy the lumix 12-60mm for this type of wide shots. |

Re: matching GH5S and DVX200
There are scene fles published by Barry Green for matching GH4 and DVX 200. May be these scene files do also match the GH5s.

Re: matching GH5S and DVX200
thx Joachim. I download that scene file and loaded it into the dvx200.
I read something about the DVX200 must be also in the natural color profile? in the menu I have found other function/color tone/natural. Is this what they mean? I also set the GH5S on the natural scene file. I did a quick test and they match good "on first sight". Will do another test If I have more time |

Re: matching GH5S and DVX200
I tried to match both with natural setting on the GH5S and the GH4 still like scene file on the DVX200. Both with tungsten preset. The DVX200 has too much yellow. I don't see this with other scene files so I guess it is the GH4 still like scene file.
In the color correction setting in the menu you can change yellow color and phase but I have no experience how to change this. I guess I will screw this up. So how can I best lower the yellow tint to match them perfectly? Front view is the DVX200 (more orange) because of the yellow tint I guess (too much yellow in red = orange) |

Re: matching GH5S and DVX200
Next month I have a shoot again but I have forgot which my 6 scene files are.
I thought my scene 4 file was the "GH4 still like scene file" to match my GH5S. How can I know which scene files I have in my DVX200? They don't have a name like cinelike D or GH4 still like scene... |

Re: matching GH5S and DVX200
Hi Tom,
I looked through my Pamnasonic stuff and found the following scene-files which I have used as long as I had the DVX200. I add a zip-file with those files and some descriptions. Joachim |

Re: matching GH5S and DVX200
thx Joachim! I downloaded the ZIP file.
Probably this was the package I had downloaded also so scene 4 would be "GH4 natural" I opened the .TXT files to see which settings/parameters they used to create this specific scene file but SCENE:4 0002:+0 0003:+1 and so on I don't know how to check these settings in the camcorder itself like master ped, gamma mode, ... If I know the default settings for "GH4 natural" and cinelike D (will overwritten this one also with that package) I can verify them and write down those settings on a paper or type them in a text file or something. I think this will the solution I'm looking for. |
