Is it better a monopod or tripod to make videos? I already have a gimbal

The problem with the MHXPRO-2W it doesn’t use the standard video plate so you can’t transition to a tripod. 2lbs isn’t much and it can help with stability. But you’re free to use anything you want.

You could put that head on a monopod or tripod, the Benro IT15 that Adriano had in mind can function as tripod and monopod because one of the legs can detach to serve as a monopod but it doesn't matter really what we suggest, he always manages to find something that is "better". :)
