Tripod Help
I am looking to get a tripod for my GH4 and I am really unsure if exactly what I should get. I'm willing to spend around $500-$600, but I keep going back and forth between the Benro 8 and the Manfrotto at that same price point.
I'll be using this for wedding video as well as general run and gun. I'll be attaching the edelkrone slider to it as well if that matters. |

Re: Tripod Help
Normally a tripod is something you will buy once and it should last you a very long time through many camera changes. I bought 2 manfrottos with 501 heads when I started my business back in 2001 and they are still with me and will be for the foreseeable future. I would make sure to look at the total extendable height. Some of these like the benro 8 pro I just looked at you mentioned have a max height of 63". Being able to go higher can be a big help in certain situations. The center pole of my manfrottos extends upward which gives me at least 7 feet. Just my 2 cents.
