FotodioX Vizelex ND Throttle Adapter
Hi All,
I'm thinking about buying the ND Throttle for my GH4. Has anyone on this forum tried this adapter and if so can you give any feed back? Thanks in advance, Salvatore |

Re: FotodioX Vizelex ND Throttle Adapter
Hi
I have been using the Fotodiox ND throttle for few months now and i am completely happy with the results. Helps a lot in cutting the extra light and working in bright conditions is where its very helpful. You need to be cautious that in low light conditions you should take it off and use a normal zero glass adapter as the ND Throttle cuts nearly 1 stop by default. Here is the example where i have used it, in this video there are some gopro timelapses apart from them the Fotodiox is used 100% of times including the first Timelapse i have liked the products and great value for money. best vishal |

Re: FotodioX Vizelex ND Throttle Adapter
Hello Vishal,
I have a few questions regarding the nd throttle. I just got mine yesterday and can't seem to get the f-stops working on my fd lenses. I was wondering if you knew of any tricks to get the aperture work or do you think a have defective adapter? Thanks, Salvatore |

Re: FotodioX Vizelex ND Throttle Adapter
Salvatore,
Mine is a adapter for the Canon EF lenses hence i never needed to operate the F value as it not supported from the camera. On a FD lens when you mount it , there is a direction movement ring which should give you the direction of movement for the aperture to move at-least i found that in the demo pic of the site, however since i have not operated it on FD lens i may not be a expert at it. https://www.fotodioxpro.com/manuals/FD_SCREEN.pdf try this link to download their manual of mounting a FD lens on the adapter and see it helps. cheers vishal |
